Extremely pricey
We love our Bob strollers. Our handle buckle finally dry rotted and broke. I ordered this one. The price for just the little buckle was already steep, but then you pay like another $8 to ship it. It weighs like a couple ounces so there’s no way it should cost that much to ship. But ultimately I needed to replace the buckle so I bought it. Carlton, Sorry about the cost to ship but First Class US Mail is the least expensive option that we use which offers tracking, and I see you paid $5.38 for this service.

Clip
Individual male clip used to keep the stroller closed. I added this to the existing handle strap with the old clip still in place so I could ensure I put it on exactly the same way. Then with plyers, I snipped the old broken clip off. Now like new. Expensive for what it is and delivery and tax added, but I think it’s a compulsory choice to benefit from the closed function for travel and storage.

Too much for only half the part
I was surprised that ONLY the buckle came with this order. For a piece of plastic, this was highly overpriced.

Price
$16 total for a 10 cent piece of plastic. What a racket.

Great Replacement
Part works great. Arrived quickly and fits just like the original. $10 part and $10 shipping make it a little expensive for a little buckle but it does the job. NOTE: You don’t have to cut the stitching and sew on the new buckle. Simple cut the old buckle off (I used tin snips) and the wrist strap will slide through the new buckle just fine.

Functions fine, picture misleading
Picture is a little misleading. You ONLY get the red buckle, there is no strap. The part works fine, and couples with the female buckle part perfect. Also, as indicated in the description there are no instructions for how to install this, and you are directed to contact the manufacturer of your stroller. The only way to install this is to rip out the stitching where the strap is doubled over, remove and replace the buckle, and then to restitch.

Parts (male handbag buckle)
We got a used bob stroller the handlebar buckle was broken. At first did not know how it worked so I just left it missing. After having to take out stroller apart to wash (don’t wash it in hot water) I looked for various videos on how to put the stroller back together ( it was hard to find a good one) As I watched the videos I figured out what we were missing. Ordered the male part of the buckle. Now we can close the stroller. Also bought the food trail just after we got the stroller. The parts fit well.

Expensive but works
Expensive for a piece of plastic especially when you include shipping. However, this part worked as advertised and isn't readily available elsewhere. Pro tip: This repair can be completed without any sewing. I could not easily remove the old buckle from the handlebar strap, so I took a picture (for reference) and cut the buckle in half with tin snips. To my surprise, I was able to feed the strap through the new buckle without too much effort. Just be sure to feed the strap through correctly the first time or you'll be ordering another buckle!
