Lockout Pin Replacement Instructions Revolution SE, CE, Stroller Strides Single and Duallies 2011 - Newer
Tools Required:
Phillips screwdriver
Small screwdriver or other long, thin tool to remove old pin from frame
Loc-tite (high strength red compound)
Removal:
1) Remove the three screws holding the nose cone to the frame of the stroller
2) Remove the nose cone to expose the headset of the stroller
3) Move the lockout pin in the down or locked position
4) Rotate fork until the lockout pin snaps into place
5) Insert a small hex wrench in the hole of the red lockout pin and turn the red knob
counter clockwise until the screw breaks loose and backs all the way out
6) Using a small screwdriver or other thin tool, push the old pin out through the top of
the frame
Installation:
1) Insert the new pin into the frame with the tapered side facing down and the threaded
recessed hole facing forward
2) Push the pin all the way down until it engages the black plate and prevents the fork
from rotating
3) Coat the threads of the new knob with Loc-tite
4) Push the spring up from the bottom with a small flat head screwdriver, exposing the
threaded opening for the lockout pin
5) Install the red lock out pin with your other hand and turn until it stops (Note: make
sure the spring is not trapped between the lockout pin and the lockout knob
6) Verify lockout operation by disengaging and engaging the lockout pin
7) Set the nose cone over the top of the fork and install the three screws NOTE: the
shorter screw will attach directly to the front of the nose cone
